FLUENT FlowLab is a unique piece of educational software that uses the power of flow visualization through CFD to teach basic fluid mechanics principles in the engineering classroom. The software runs Fluent's general purpose CFD code, FLUENT, and pre-processor, GAMBIT, in the background, with a user-friendly, student-specific graphical user interface (GUI) on its front end. Based on ready-to-use exercises, FlowLab eliminates the long learning curve associated with general fluid flow modeling packages, making it easy to deploy as part of the undergraduate or masters-level curriculum. With FlowLab, you can:

Your FLUENT FlowLab software license includes free access to our ready-to-use exercises posted here. Exercises developed by Fluent consist of a parameterized CFD problem and a set of exercise notes, in pdf format, which provide detailed instructions on the exercise.
Along with the standard exercise suite distributed with FLUENT FlowLab, license holders can download additional exercises that have been developed through collaborative programs. Fluent supports the creation of these additional exercises and acknowledges the significant effort of participating students and faculty in their development. Find out more about these collaborative programs and exercises and how they can be used in your engineering curricula.
